Songmatch is a dating application for people of all ages. It is different from other dating apps because it uses your interest in music to connect you with a partner. It registers the user preferences in music and matches them with the interests of other users to find people with common music interests.
It was challenging, yet fun to develop this particular app because of the requirements of the client and the continuous communication. Finally, our developers were able to overcome all the problems and delivered the app.
There are a couple of dating apps out in the market, but they do not always accurately connect like-minded people. This problem was identified by the client and they wanted to fill in this gap in the market. They came up with innovative ideas to cater to the increasing need of people to find others with similar interests.
Our client brainstormed various ideas to match the interest of people, such as gaming interests, movie interests, music interests, etc. They knew they were on the right track and that they just needed a professional service provider to bring their ideas to life. They were confused about the name of the app and which interest they would actually use to match people. They cooked up some designs and wireframes to define the flow of the app and how it should look once it is completed, but they were looking for an app development company to finalize the project.

Now that interest was decided, we pitched the name, and Song Match was finally approved.
